Garth Fountain-Smith - Chairman

Garth brings a wealth of corporate governance expertise to NCW as Director of his own legal practice in Victoria (Fountain‐Smith, Lawyers and Governance), advising on corporations law and has held senior positions as a lawyer and manager with ASIC.

He holds post graduate qualifications in applied corporate governance, is a Fellow of Chartered Secretaries Australia (CSA) and Member of its Corporate and Legal Issues Committee, whose experience is regularly called upon by CSA to lecture in legal compliance and corporate governance.

Richard Lloyd - Executive Director

Richard joined Dicksons in January 1988 as Company Secretary and was appointed Managing Director of Dicksons in October 1991 He is also a Director of The Lighthouse Foundation, which is a not-for-profit charitable organisation, that provides long term accommodation for homeless youth. Richard has always embraced positive change, and sees rationalisation as a great way to enhance client value. He's been instrumental in the adoption of new technology by the business, and is continually working to improve supply chain methodologies.

Mr Cassettari has been an executive director of the NCW since 2006, with over 10 years experience in the FMCG industry. Mr Cassettari is General Manager of A & W Hollier an industry leading Distributor, he has held roles in Sales, I.T & Senior Management. Mr Cassettari is currently studying for a Masters in Applied Finance. Mr Cassettari holds professional memberships with Australian Institute of Company Directors and Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Stephen Cattana - Executive Director

Stephen Cattana is the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Youngs Confectionery and is an experienced Sydney confectionery wholesaler with 20 years in the industry.

Stephen is a second generation wholesaler who has successfully grown the revenue, profit and brand of this business.

Stephen has a passion for the industry and has acquired several businesses over the last few years integrating them into this business.

Stephen has the willingness for change in a changing market always searching for new avenues to pursue new business opportunities and strengthen his existing business.

Stephen's responsibilities are

Dennis is a pragmatic and commercially astute senior executive with extensive global operating experience spanning a twenty year career with International blue chip corporations including Unilever, PepsiCo and Cadbury Schweppes.

Having completed directorships on the board of Cadbury Schweppes and Pepsico, Dennis is driven to utilise his broad business acumen across a diverse range of private and public organisation.

Dennis is a founding partner of PSG and is highly regarded by his peers for his effectiveness in leading business transformation, generating incremental shareholder value and creating competitive advantage.

Philip Thomas Appointed: 24 Feb 2011

Philip W. Thomas - Company Secretary

MCom.Law, BBus(Bkg&Fin), Grad Dip CSP, FCIS, ASA, FFin, MAICD

Involved in general accounting functions for many years then completed a Bachelor of Business specialising in Banking and Finance and worked with a variety of Financial services firms in Australia and Asia, being based in Hong Kong during this period. Also undertook a Grad. Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice as well as a Masters Degree of Commercial Law.

Held executive positions in listed corporations that have undergone change including the position as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for listed Public Companies whilst they underwent corporate restructuring and acquisitions.

Assignments have included work with Stock Exchange, Funds Management, University subsidiaries, Government Departments and support entities, Pharmaceutical, National Charitable Groups, Food Manufacturing, and a variety of foreign owned Australian subsidiaries.

Other experience

Philip is a Chartered Company Secretary and is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer in Corporate Financial Risk as well as Corporate Governance and Corporate Administration as well as Course Lecturer in Compliance and Risk.
